ZOOM-ZOOM-ZOOM – APRIL 7
Michael Fremer is an American music and audio journalist, YouTuber, former radio commercial voice-over talent and stand-up comedian from New York City, known best for writing about audiophile equipment and vinyl.
The Tracking Angle, a website he owns and edits, serves as a compass for those navigating the intricate landscape of high-end audio and recorded music. His insights, meticulously researched and passionately delivered, guide both seasoned collectors and curious newcomers. And as editor at large at The Absolute Sound, Michael continues to shape the discourse, challenging conventions and championing the vinyl resurgence.
But Michael Fremer is more than ink on paper. He’s the Pied Piper of vinyl, leading us through grooves and melodies, urging us to listen with intent. His influence extends beyond the printed page, resonating in the hearts of audiophiles worldwide. When he speaks, we adjust our tracking force, clean our stylus, and lean in, eager to catch every nuance.
He is also a long-time member and officer of the Los Angeles and Orange County Audio Society and will be the MC of the Society’s 31st Annual Gala event next December.
Michael Fremer’s impact on the world of vinyl and high-end audio remains undeniable. Whether you view him as a vigilant advocate or a lightning rod for controversy, his passion keeps the conversation alive.
Join us in “A conversation with Michael Fremer”!
